Hi!
Since I am new at all this fiddelish and sensory discovery mall functions and our vacation trip wil be there within 6 weeks a good prep is on its place.
I know my diesels but being unfamiliar with all the other systems tukt away in these cars we have decided to bring it to a good doctor.
So what should be checked to know whether we have bought a good d2?
Saves me some time to study

For now and hopefully being fixed by putting in a new crankshaft sensor, it's not running and them Ace beeps .

Advice is appreciated.

I've used that on buying it, since it is seeing a garage I was thinking what's more to explore which is not possible on a driveway.

If you have not got diagnostics, then ask them to check and clear all history. Then in the future you know any further diag nostics messages are after that date.
Get a report off of diagnostics when driving to show all engine functions are correct.

I would replace all fluids and filters.
Check brake pads thickness.
Grease props and check UJs.
Check wheel bearings for roughness.
check and replace front plastic seal on the top front of engine.
Check for oil in loom, oil at ECU red plug.

Cheers

Got lost here, uj's what are they ;)
Rest is done for, that's driveway shizzle.
I think we bought a decent car, minor things pop up as usual it ain't new, I never buy new... in my opinion pure waste of money.
Bought a Foxwell for read outs. And them problems i have to sort are in an other thread.

Thnx for the advice!
