You are still supposed to leave your parking lights on at night https://www.gov.uk/waiting-and-parking/parking-at-night-248-to-252 if you're parked on >30mph road. Parking on the wrong side of the road after dark is still a rule-breaker...

Yea thought so. Its coz oncoming traffic can't pick up your rear reflectors.

Still amazed a lot of peeps don't know that road edge marking bollards always have white reflectors for off side and red for near side. I've seen so many cars stuffed through hedges in the confusion.
 
I noticed a few on one of the roads over the tops the other week that had been put back in the wrong way round. They'd been fixed a couple of days later - there's not much that makes the council move that quickly.

Youve just reminded me! Been 2 years must fit the reflectors back to mine :D

Nonsense. The turbulence created by two motorised vehicles passing would bring on at the very least nervous prostration if not total apoplexy.
