ONLY JOKING but got you looking.

Sorry guys, but got a question to ask regarding one of my back tyres. I spotted yesterday that the sidewall appears to be peeling away from the bead slightly and wanted to know whether the tyre would be safe to continue using or not. I could take it to a tyre place to have it checked but they are going to tell me that it needs a new one to try and get a sale out of me.

What you think guys? Would you continue to use it or not?? Worried about a possible blow out, but I know absolutely nothing about tyre construction.

Cheers

Pics don't work. But think about what constitutes wear or damage in a tyre e.g. cuts or damage to side wall, cords or ply showing, no tread etc...

Hopefully them pics work, but maybe a little large sorry. I aint the best when it comes to pictures sorry!!!

There is a few codes and numbers on them but can not see anything that looks relevant to when they were made, or anything that looks like a year or date.

Ok, mine says DOT H2W8 YCT 1911 - so I presume that means that it was made in the 19th week of 2011???

It is only one of them. The other three are perfect, but I hate them and dont see the point in changing one, so will be changing them for something different.
