Hi Day two with the Freelander and two things I wanted to get some advice on, firstly when I switch the engine off after driving it, I get a series of beeps?
I don't have the manuals so cant look in there on what its trying to tell me.
Any ideas?

There is a problem with the central locking not unlocking the drivers door so don't know if that's linked. Fob will lock all doors.

The other is the ABS light stays on when started and goes out at about 5mpg, now I am being led to believe this is OK!!

Think I managed to fix the rear door leak by adjusting the lock and the swimming pool is now try.

Abs thing is fine( mph you mean?).

Re the ABS warning lamp, yes that is quite normal. You have to reach about 5mph and then it goes out.

the beep means ur remote control fob battery needs changing

the drivers window , u need most proberly a new motor

hope that helps abit

Drivers door not unlocking is a common fault, actuator in the lock has probably packed up replace the lock should fix the problem

I've had the low fob battery beeps but only on unlocking and opening the drivers door though.

Have you got an after market radio / cd that beeps?

Mine bleeps after unlocking so ive learnt something tonight I'll get a new battery for the fob cheers

Thanks all for the answers, will change the key fob battery and see if that cures the beeping. Someone mention an after market cd radio, yep there is an after market, put that in yesterday as well.:clap2::clap2:

All of these things could have been found on a search. That's what the search field is for !
