Just acquired a 2003 discovery, and worst fears came immediately. After bringing it home I can't do anything with it. Locks may or may not work, constantly in alarm mode, key wont turn in ignition switch. Already have multiple hours searching for solutions, finding nothing that gives a clue. Sorry, just more frustrated than I've ever been with any vehicle. Any solutions that don't involve explosives?
 
Hi, could be the fob battery going flat or the receiver in the roof packing up. Do you have the EKA code

Is the vehicle battery new aswell?
