Dont know about towed or pulled. But I just pushed my disco up a hill with the misus steering :) thats gnt to b close on 2.5 ton and wot ever the disco weighs :-D
 
picked up this 10/20 some while ago for restoration had a howard rotovator on the back of the trailer as well good load what a blessing air suspension.

At my last job used to use a D2 to tow a 16foot beaters trailer with 25+ beaters and dogs off road around the estate. Had off road tyres and found it performed best in low with the air pumped up in the suspension.
 
A ford KA with 2 front flats up hardknot pass (the owners had no breakdown and were quoted £500 just to get them down), so pulled them up to the first flat spot so they could change the wheels). No probs what so ever (aside from 4 cars waiting behind me, lol)
 
Towed a articulated truck out of a muddy show ground. It was trying to move itself just couldn't get enough traction, my lil v8 sounded so nice pulling that out.
