i re-attached a loose door card on me long (none)running series 3 petrol project, only got some more minor jobs like fitting the engine and i'll be good to go!!

floor mats are the next job...... :D

replaced the nearside door glass after some BASTID broke into me landie @ 9.00am whilst parked in a church.......................................easy enough job though

jet washed me brakes and engine bay today in the vain hope that it solves me brake problem:doh: if not at least i can see which bit is broke so i can hit it hard as i can with a big fook off hammer:eek::rolleyes:

Cleaned the thermo, on my freelander and refitted it. I think it looks ok, but as I'm still learning ill be checking very frequently the levels,
may still go for a new one is a PRT ive been reading about the same as the one that comes with the 1.8i
(Does it work backwards) ?
The two top hose's get very hot and after some time the thermo will open and allows hot water into the bottom hose to the rad.
The next job is checking the fan, i havnt seen it working yet, the fuse is ok but i need to check the fan motor, then top up the Gearbox, then put back the guard.
lovin it.

realised the battery is fooked, topped up the transfer box with oil cos i thort it was empty and rattling only to find out the driver's side cat is fooked too!

Finished fitting my new spade type fuse boxes to the 110. All wired up and the fuel pump clicks in straight away now and she started first time .
No more dodgy fuses I hope:rolleyes:

Just got in after fitting a straight through exhaust pipe instead of the centre box, so only silencing is the back box, which might be fun driving home if it gets pulled off whilst off-roading!!

Again ... ;)

Not looking for more power, as such, just stopping the bloody thing rattling against the body. Sounds nice, hopefully it might free the turbo a little to get even more mpg's from it. Already de-egr'd, de-catted, tweaked fuel pump etc.

Be interesting to see how long I like the deeper sound when i'm towing under power uphill on the motorway mind ... ;)

Just got back from some local laning

.... had to 'test' the new exhaust bit is quiet enough whilst out 'n about ...

;)

Put a cb radio in mine, not used one since I was a kid not many people using them now. Used to be very popular back then .

Ah've bin ****in' aboot tryin' tae paint me new doors! Got one stripped back, primed and painted... sort of!!
Ah was tryin' tae be too quick in paintin' the door that the primer never had a chance to dry and kept stickin' layers of paint on before the first one had touch dried anaw. Took it all back off and re-primed it before rubbin' back and doin' it right this time. Was quite chuffed with the door until ah took it out to see how the colour was against the rest of the paint.... it didnae match!!!!!
Ah bought a wee tin of shop mixed paint instead of the big tin of factory mixed paint as ah did before... that'll teach me!
Anyways, here's a couple of photies fur ye's.....
