Removed the DAF fuel tank from the truck and fitted one off a disco , just got to clip all the pipes up , then stick some diesel in it :) had a bit of a prob with the filler neck .

If yer on about the calliper bolts. they is 12 point nuts. a standard 12 point socket fits em. but a 6 sided socket wunt fit.
 
its the bracket that carries the caliper and yeah they are 12 point, but why not just put in ordinary bolts if ordinary sockets fit?
 
Today, I have removed the rad & intercooler in order to clean out all thew **** and mud caked on them.

This should have been quite a straight forward job. Should have been.....

So, I get cracking, only to realise that i will need a special spanner to remove the fan. Off I pop, try three different motor factors, none of which have any in stock.

So it's hammor and chisel time. Looks like I will now need to replace the viscous fan with an electric one.

Tomorrows jobs will be to clean the rad and intercooler off and flush them through after leaving them to soak in the parrafin bath overnight.
