yesterday, tried to remove n/s front wing to see what horrors there are behind there..........done it as advised on other threads ( 4 bolts in pillar by door, screws on top and bolts in front).......bugger !! it's attached to plastic cover thing. due to knackered back, I am unable to get on floor and see where they are attached to. Anyways I managed to get a looksee with my phone camera and was not happy.

not good !!
 :(

but today...............

I got me a set of brand new 4 x Cooper Discoverer ATR tyres ready to put on later in the year for £280 squid.

:):):)

haha should be ;)

I've got a long to do list still but worked through the hard bits this week or at least some of them!

To do list;

Time it properly as its only been done roughly
P Gasket wants renewing
Tank wants bolting in with a mount for the fuel pump
Drivers manifold bolting on
Wings want bolting back on with slam panel and the the spade connectors reconnected so I have lights :D
Radiators want plumbing in and mounting with their fans
Alternator wants putting on with its belt
Seatbox trim panel and tub floor
Roof wants bolting together
Central crossmember needs welding in with the new gearbox mounts, I'm thinking I'm gonna make something fancy using twin mounts for this bit
Engine mounts want welding up as I'm not sold on the use of long 8.8 bolts with packing washers….so going to weld them to the chassis as well seeing as they're crushed onto it already before bolting
Slave cylinder needs bolting in with pushrod
Handbrake needs connecting/bodging together
Bulkhead removal bar wants putting in as I need to brace the tub a little more
Seatbox and custom gearbox tunnel, insulation, seats and seatbelts

So as you can see they're fairly straightforward especially as I'm not making the body panels I've just measured up properly and getting them made for me as I'm lazy ;)

Had every intention of doing 'stuff wot needs doing' to the Disco today .. opened shed, moved a few things about, had a cuppa, sat in the garden, looked at the Landy .. came in, went on t'interweb a few times off and on, in and out all day, did nowt to the Disco, closed shed!

Just come back in and now watching Scorpion King .. the Disco will do another day .. :)

Fitted the new (to me) winch bumper on the old bus , used the new Milwaukee impact wrench for the first time (and the battery grinder too) fookin awesome kit well impressed :D

Fitted a new T-box output bearing and oil seal. Bearing had collapsed and caused loads of play in the front prop! All good now and most of the clunking sounds have stopped

Going to investigate the nasty squealing noise which isn't the pig and might not be the belts. Better clean all the Johnson Baby Powder off the engine from my unsuccessful attempt at diagnostics :rolleyes:

Finally finished painting my brothers 90. Time to find my self a project now.
