I contacted MIB Components in Leamington Spa. They quoted between £100 to £200 each side. Depends if they have to take the foot peddles off or if they just cut a piece out and butt up to it.

The only reason it did that is because the current is up a little too high. Just try again on a bit of old metal

I need to replace my footwell too... drivers side is okay but is starting to go, passenger side has a ruddy great hole in it! Just not looking forward to taking the wing of ...
Can you take some piccys when you do get around to getting someone to fit it?
cheers

I'm no expert but I don't think the wing has to come off to fit a foot well?

Strictly speaking this was yesterday and this morning ...

Tried out the sleeping area in it last night, ****in' down outside and reasonably cold so _exactly_ like so many wild camping trips!

It works really well, but the step I left in it is a nightmare maker ... I'll definitely be getting it levelled out before I need to sleep in it ... ;)

However, it did work reasonably well with the sleeping bag positioned either way round, so head near the back or the front works just as well.

Also tried a third desk in it to make it a double and whilst it does work it'd be very awkward getting in and out and moving around, especially as a couple, so that'd have to have more work done on it. As a solo bed it's great 'cos the passenger side rear seat is still in place and can be used with the front seat folded as a dressing, cooking, eating area .. me own mini-motorhome .. ;)

Don't think the bar and lights will help the quarter mile times much ... ;)

Well.... Yesterday actually - unbolted a few more bits off the convertable.
Anyone want any repair sections before the body , or what's left of it gets scrapped?
