Drained the oil/grease/gunk from the swivel housings....now waiting for new washers, shims, bolts, drain plugs and one-shot grease to arrive....should've been here yesterday! :mad:
 
must admit Beneagles, a job thats on my "must do list"
I also have a clunking drivers side front c/v joint that`ll need replacing,
so will leave it all till then,
or when it goes bang = whichever comes sooner...:eek:
 
Recieved a package today bringing me filters, panhard bushes with new nuts and bolts and a new fuel filler cap. Just need the oils and antifreeze to do the service may do the glow plugs and timing belt just before christmas (Nothing better than freezing ya nuts off whilst fookin' about wi' timing:rolleyes:)
 
Picked my RR Classic up from my mates shop last night after having all new springs, new front shocks and polybushes all round. Was a very comfy ride home :)
 
New Timken bearings and oils seals to swivels. Had to replace the short brake pipe as well as I buggered it up whilst removing the caliper!

just cleaned it and sorted out the rear light cluster problem, oh so looking forward to doing the non existant handbrake over the weekend:mad:
 
Just ordered some new front caliper's, cheapest local motor factor's wanted £150, got them from an online LR Indy for less than £100 inc. postage:)
 
new plugs, dizzy cap , rotor arm and lead's . after landrover main agent said it was compresion issue that's why I had a misfire , and needed engine rebuilding , now on all 8 cylinder's and giving boy racers more than a run for there money .......!!:crutch:
 
I fitted my rebuilt Warn winch, installed my homemade LPG manifold to my intercooller and then drove the 60 miles home with that extra boost that LPG gives you.

Just free's of my turbo wastegate yet again.:mad:

I know they are notorious for seizing up on TD5's but his has to be taking the mickey.:(

At some point today I've got to empty the coal out the back. I may even get around to running the cables up to the dash for the heated seats after wiring em up hastily last winter.:eek:

Well I didn't get around to emptying the coal out or running the wiring through. I did manage to bugger the drivers door lock up though. I rekon the screw has come loose on the back of the lock so I now can't open it with the key. I hate having to take the door cards off.:mad:
