Fitted the assister springs to my 110. The back end now sits about 35mm higher than it did before. It actually looks like it sits level now.:)

I'll test em out on Salisbury plain tomorrow.

****!!! really mate? or you sorting something out with the tyres?

today i've sorted my handbrake out! I love the feeling of achievement!
thanks to busterbus for the "idiots guide"..was simple and now I know what to do, how it works, etc...

bought some army surplus desert boots to stroke her pedals with...smell that dirty Afghan on my feet baby

Test drove mine offroad with the new assister springs fitted.

They've completely transformed the ride. It's still just as soft on the rough stuff but much more stable when cornering on road.:)

pianted me series 3 88,fixed the brakes ( rear end problem ) fitted a new battery but found a spring underneath and do not know where it goes ...yet.

fixed a brake light, adjusted the handbrake cable, tried to fix the full beam switch. it works but still no light. grrrrrr!

got towed home buy the disco :p as my water pump on the defender decided to blow all my coolant on the floor, fitted new water pump shes as good as new again :D

Repaired the back door lock, the rear N/S door lock, 2x sunroof motors and gear boxes, (possibly) repaired the radio and put a new light in behind the clock. Phew!

Still to do, replace a missing chunk of plastic bumper, the heating/air-con control panel lights and fix 2x leaky sunroofs :(

I have no idea how to remove the heater/air-con panel to get at the lights (Are there any lights? If so does anyone know how to do this? I'd be really grateful of a reply) and keep wishing that sunroofs had never been invented. I've had a look at them and seem to have a triple whammy of bad luck, leaky drain cups, leaky glass seal and leaky roof seal too - whoo :frown:

Added a dog guard, not cause I have a dog at the moment, but cause it at least makes the boot seem more secure and it's good for hanging/fitting other kit to. It was a rather neat one specific to P38 that locks to side panels of boot to keep it in place but also still allows use of parcel shelf, to keep the gear outta sight. Very pleased with the result.
