I've not done anything but I've been thinking about it. It broke down on me the other night, with the engine cutting out and failing to restart. If you leave it for an hour or so it will restart and then cut out again after a minute or two. It kind of suggests fuel starvation. Looking on here at what people have done about similar symptoms, I shall start with the fuel system: the pump (Clanforbes), the filter (CharlesY) and then maybe move on to the injector seals (Buckshot) but will leave that 'til last as it's a bigger job and involves taking the rocker shaft out. Also on my list of possible culprits are the MAP, MAF and crank position sensors. They may not cause the problem in its entirety but may not be helping. I've also checked for oil contamination in the engine loom, but it's nice and dry. I changed the injector loom at the end of September anyway, and it seems to be holding out.

Could it be vapor lock? Not had experience but read about it before a while ago and symptoms sound like yours. Engine cutting out and not starting when hot/warm? Think it's cheaper to fix might just be a new thermostat.
May be able to just take this out for a test and see if it starts and stays alive?

Yay, the bonnet latch only works on the first lock and now the rear door striker is borked. The metal panel it's attached to just wobbles about.. so it pushes the striker away.

Could have been much worse

Has my rear Diff gone?
Driving along a dirt track this afternoon on my back from a 80 mile round trip and suddenley withoout any warning I lost all drive. I loud grating noise was coming from what appeared to be the rear diff. No drive what so ever I tried to make sure that it had not slipped out of gear both from the gear box and from the transfer box. I tried it in diff lock and managed to get the drive back again to get me home. Once home I checked again in normal drive but still just a grating sound as if the cogs were grating but not catching. Still works when diff lock is engaged.
Any suggestions guys?

Check your rear 1/2 shafts
Put it in gear and difflock, chock the front wheels, jack up one side of the rear, then try to make the wheel rotate with your hands, if you can you've found the side with the problem.....

Took new Grabber AT's for a play in the snow. I'm no tyre connoisseur, but they seemed very happy climbing steep snowy roads, with no intervention from TC. But what was *really* noticeable was tarmac manners at 60/70 - the familiar borderline-lethal wandering/tramlining of the previous set is seemingly cured.

(This isn't necessarily a glowing endorsement for the new tyre, last set were alarmingly close to bald after all)
