Was well ****ed off as I thought me front sunroof was leaking as noticed whilst driving my passenger front seat and handbag was soaked. Checked sunroof was shut, no wet patches on roof lining, huh?? Didn't tighten the lid up on my bottle of water in my bag did I! Had my prescription in there too, took it into Docs (well half of it) soggy and wrinkled. Bah!

went for a drive, cracked windscreen(heated) noticed fuel filter leaking and got wet from leaking sunroof.Forgot to add coat soaking wet from leaking rear sunroof stuck in miles of traffic because m50 closed. Note to self never take wife shopping again.

Made and fitted cubby box and fitted tunnel cover, the cover does make her a little less noisy :)

Plugged a leak in the footplate (rivet ingress) and sound proofed the rear floor. Have to do the rest when it's not hissing down. :5bhurray:

Fitted a bar. Ooo looks better.

All belts adjusted. Waiting on performance induction filter so can sort airbox out. (we mullered air filter on conversion)

Trailered the pony to the forest with hubby on his bike. Got lost, listened to dog walkers who swore they saw Silverlandy and a black and silver trailer (not hard to miss) THAT way so off we went in completely the wrong direction.

Came out at a exit and got off pony whilst hubby did a rekky on his bike. He was gone ages and I couldn't get back on from the ground as I'm so fooking shortarsed and have a treeless saddle so impossible.

Proceeded to walk pony in hand along the road to find hubby, couldn't ring him he had my phone.

Passerby pulled over and asked if I was ok, no I'm lost :( took my mobile to ring hubby but in forest no signal.

Carried on walking getting panicky no sign posts, no means of communication, everywhere looks the same :(

Where was hubby?? Where am I?? FFS!

Then a sight to behold!! There was my Silver coming in the opposite direction. Hubby biked miles, found her, loaded up his bike and came and found us. Phew!

So:

1) take note of the numbered car parks before you leave
2) never take directions from other people who swore blind they saw a fooking great Silver Disco with Black Trailer "up that way"

On top of that trailer started clunking pulling away so looks like the damper fubared.

Other than that, an enjoyable ride! :D

Get one of those handheld gps thingies; excellent for not getting lost and finding your way back to where you started.

Silly question probably but how do they work? I know none of our phones had signal or 3G in the depths of the forest otherwise I'd have used me google map app.

Are they expensive? Hubby is having major back surgery Tuesday so next 6 weeks I'll be venturing out alone....

Don't know exactly, but I have used our handheld Garmin gps in Italy in the middle of nowhere. I'm sure the techy blokes will be able to offer advice.
