Just come in from work and found me front tyres flat again!

Think I'll have to go to a tyre place to break the beads, clean them and the rims and re-seal them properly. I doubt my compressor would provide enough blow to inflate a tyre from absolutely flat unless it's already sealed ..

Gave mine a once over before its MOT test tomorow. I was meant to do it on monday but the bits I ordered on sunday via express delivery didn't arrive until 16.15 this afternoon so I couldn't leave the house to go and work on the landy:mad::mad::mad:.

There were a few bits that needed doing. I lubed up the O/S/R door catch as it was getting a bit sticky to open, fitted all new track rod ends, adjusted the washer jets, fitted new wiper blades, fitted new number plates front and rear, cleaned the O/S/R brake as it had mud trapped in it and was making a bit of noise.

I still have to re-fit and bolt the battery back in and either change the whole drop arm or replace the drop arm ball joint and I also need to sort out the wiring to the high level brake light all before 9am tomorrow morning.:eek::eek:

Had my mud tyres delivered!! Ready to roll soon need a swap over spray my disco1 steels then put them back on! thinking a nice satin black for the disco wheels!! standard landy wheels are JANK! but matt black might suite um ;)

Just had a pop top added by RR concept (www.rrconcept.com) in Lyon in France..anyone else got a land rover camper?

I was in the same position as you I needed to change the ball joint due to a split boot, I bought a tool from Paddocks for about £12, it makes changing the top seat out a doddle. Much easier than doing the whole arm.

genuinely not spam.. i am a tailor in London and new owner of a defender..Not a garage owner.
did loads of research abt putting on dormobile type roofs and found nothing on UK forums, plenty in Germany and France even a few random Danish companies but all the people I spoke to like Foleys couldnt do a roof that didnt look ridiculous.
