Fitted a window sticker:

Striped out the seats and floor cover. Cleaned the mud out and out of the battery box. Sealed up all the holes in battery box and refitted everything. Still no cubby box though:(

Long day at work - check.
25 miles in V8 Landy commute home - check.
Hot and sweaty (nice if you're with a lady) - check.
Arrive home - check.
Keys in the ignition - check.
Get out - check.
Lock doors while keys still in ignition - check.
Stand on my drive with Landy locked and said keys in said ignition - check.
Me, **** - over qualified and check, check, check.
Attempting to use The Force to will said keys into said ****'s hand - fail.
What a cock - check.

30 minutes later door unlocked, no damage, keys in my sweaty little hands.

Hot summer's night + incident above - I sweated so much I look like I had been w**king for a month.

I am an unlocking Landy God.

Everything all calm again in my Landy world. :)

I'm no expert but looks like normal LR engineering.........

You can see how it should work....

You can see why it doesn't.....

Whatever you do to fix it, it will nearly work for a while and then break again :frusty::rolleyes:

S

Yep - I have my perfect 2 car garage.

V8 Landy with meaty manual gearbox for me and a Tiptronic Boxster for the little lady.

Took the Boxster to work this morning, roof down singing along to Kylie's new single on Radio 2 (I didn't look camp at all, probably).

:car:

Had the doors and boot door open two days now to try and dry it out after last weekends North Yorks trip .. feckin' mud's still wet!!

So, scraped it out using a wallpaper scraper and just lobbing the mud in a bucket .. so glad I took the sponge sound-proofing out .. then ran a hose inside and let the water trickle through to help clean it up, but it doesn't seem to work .. ;)

Sorted me strops and shackles out ready for the next one, and me spares box and looking at making a sleeping platform/storage locker for the next wild camp .. got a few desks thrown out at school and they fit in the boot nicely, just a bit high, so grinder to legs, bit of plywood and Roberts shagging your auntie .. :)
