Myself and the ballast went for a testdrive to see if the new injector seals have solved the cutting out problem. I started with a drive into wells and picked up some coal. After loading up the landy up I then headed out of Wells, past Wookey Hole and Ebbor Gorge and up towards priddy where I stopped for a cup of tea while overlooking the Somerset levels at Deer Leap.

So it is okay now? Or are you awaiting recovery now

It seems to be all ok. It took a couple of seconds of cranking over to start it but bearing in mind it hasn't been driven since the fuel pump and seals were changed I'm not too surprised.

I rekon I may need to give the wastegate another jiggle cos I did have a bit of lag at one point and it did overboost a couple of times but apart from that it seems ok.:)

This in leu of tomorrow morning, oh and I blew up my tyres as they were all over the place. one had dropped by 5 PSI so I think it might need some sealant on the rim

Put all the bits that I took off yesterday back on :D Including, Rear seats, subwoofer, 6x9's, chequer plate sills and rear quaters, front grille and surround, driving lights and re-wired :D Also checked all the levels under the bonnet, topped up with a pint of engine oil, secured the oil breather pipe from block to rocker cover properly with hose clips, stuffed a litre of spare engine oil in a container behind the brake servo to be safe and filled up my spare washer fluid reserve bottle :D Oh yeah and played with the setting on my amp, so now the bass is coming from the amp-sub and not from tuning the headunit, if I do that the normal speakers don't like that much stick, Got a good amount done today and couldn't have asked for better weather to do it in

I took my Defender shooting cos' it's Sunday, then took it to the pub for lunch. Then took my Disco to the jet wash as it's due an MOT this week.
