Fitted new door locks and a snorkel!

finally got round to fitting a LaSalle fibreglass headlining in the 90 looks great and has reduced cabin noise to such an extent I can hear a load more rattles and other odd noises than before.
 
Got rid of the compression joint on my fuel tank sender and replaced it with a bit of 8mm rubber fuel pipe, seems to have solved my air in fuel issues :)

Yep, revs much much more freely now, happily pulls to 60 in fourth whereas it would only struggle to 50 before :)

Still not completely cured it but am getting closer... ;)

Was tempted to bid on a Disco transfer box earlier but stopped myself, I reckon the gearing will be spot on when the 35s are fitted.
 
Oh pish! I got real dirty on the way home from work as I blew one of the pipes that takes coolant to the plenum. Fortunately it was in a place where I could cut off the damaged part and reconnect it.

I had a feeling that I should buy some antifreeze today. I'm glad I did!
 
finaly got rid of the paint blisters (and there was a few of em) went to spray only to find the paint was about two shades darker. oh well! tomorrows another day:doh:
 
Welded both brackets that hold the centre section up as they had snapped, ready for the MOT on Sat! Fingers crossed it won't need anything else!

getting ride of the bloody thing!!!!!!
nothing but cost and ******* agro since i got it...

anyone want a 1999 disco 2 gs td5 118000miles 7months mot, 4 months tax,
new air springs, new head lamp washer motor, new door mirrors,and lots and lots of other things!!!!!!

at a bargain price of £5000. just to cover the costs so far!!

you wont get (cover costs so far ) dont mean jack in this eco climate, just have to pray for lots of snow
