Took off the front pipe & cat, replaced it with a straight thru' pipe. Nothing like spending a beautiful hot sunny morning underneath yer Landy...
And then got jiffed to take Mrs Wharfe to Asda by way of a test run. Did seem to be a bit more responsive though. (The Landy, not Mrs W.)
 
Chucked some more 80-90 GL5 in the front axle as the front stub axle seal is leaking and the diff was beginning to whine:(:rolleyes::rolleyes:
 
continued stipping the disco for bits ,only engine left to come out with gearbox, when i bought it as a donor car a few weeks ago the fuel gauge was broken so very suprised to find the tank full to the brim whilst stripping it today ,my 90 has never had so much fuel in her ,hope the shock dont kill it
 
After having replaced both rear wheel arches on the classic RR,I then decided to drill out and remove the rear floor completely.Fabricated a new one out of galvanised . Now all I have to do is fit it?
 
Made a timing pin tool and did 300tdi timing belt and crank oil seal this evening.

found the rev counter doesn't work as when previous owner had wiring wrong
 
I gave mine a quick spin around the block to help keep the battery charged and also stuck a bit of fuel in it.

took old csw windows out and replaced with 88" series van sides. Most of the plastics are back in and with a little cutting I think i can get the rear window surrounds to fit too :)

next up is the tub cappings then a roller and massey grey or gloss black paint
 
Fitted some new wading plugs (dunno where last ones went:confused:) also fitted new turbo hose's (frick they were a tight fit compared to the last lot I bought) and a wing mirror clip, no more stickytape holding the mirror on & I can see more than just the road now:rolleyes:
