looking good :)
Like the Black on Silver, Pity it's to new to Have the Silver on Black Number plates from yesteryear

Went to Replace my Rear Brake Pads today on the Disco to Prompley find a seized Caliper so tomorrow down to the local motor factors to pick on up and do over the weekend:doh::doh::doh:

Busy couple of days.... fitted new front indicator after some little prick kicked in the old one (surprised they could be bothered to lift their leg that high!), fitted a few replacement dash bulbs so I can find everything in the dark and new headlight bulbs, cause seeing where your going is always a bonus, fitted new pollen filters and replaced the foam filter in the scuttle panel. Replaced brake pedal switch in attempt to fix cruise control, only it hasn't helped, in fact it's made it worse.... at least it worked sometimes with the old switch, now it doesn't work at all! Also replaced bonnet catch and switch to get rid of annoying bonnet open messages.

Had new tyres fitted up, which turned into a drama when I discovered the wheels had been fitted with Tyrons and the mobile fitter didn't have the gear to get them off! To be honest I don't reckon they'd have worked properly anyway cause the wells were so deep the bands weren't flush with the rims, so the tyres would still have come loose if the they'd gone down. Anyway decided against refitting them to save the agro next time around, and choice of Grabber AT2's seems to have been a good one so far. Slightly noiser than the Scorpions but good road holding and no tramlining!

Nearly got hypothermia laying in wet snow fitting the negative winch wire after forgetting to run it along the chassis the other day.

Wired up the second pair of X-Lites on the roof bar. Need to go out and find a quiet lane somewhere and get the aim right, but for now I'm very, very impressed. Gawd help the next person who doesn't dip their headlamps coming towards me! :D

Yesterday got the housing off to replace the a frame ball joint ( destroyed vice before managing to finish job), Removed drop arm with a good old trust grinder. Off to get new parts tomorrow and hope the garage will fit a new ball joint for me.

spent 3 hours trying to get rivnuts to stay in place on the seat brackets, ended up fitting a new plate below and bolting it in

Time to bite the bullet and dip my hand in my pocket:eek::Cry:, the Rangie's booked in for a head job on Thursday. It's been loosing water and getting a bit warm for a while, now to find out where and why, cause it's not going into the oil and there's no white steam from the exhaust. The last straw was a trip to Wales last week. Ran fine for 70 miles round M25, before overheating near Slough. 230 miles, about 7 stops and 6 gallons of water later we arrived ok, then the inconsistant bitch did the return journey with just 2 stops and a few litres of water, go figure:confused:
