:)Drilled bonnet for chequer plate,fitted vibrasorb kit tobonnet,masticced chequerplate and screwed down.Fitted bonnet and test drive 1 up field:D:Dand 2into town:Dall good.A lot quieter I can hear the stereo now and really pleased steering guard on as I have bent 2 links this year:D
 
Got it muddy. Driving round Wales. Ripped the N/S Wing Mirror off, put the exhaust downpipe back on after it got ripped out,
 
Fitted decat pipe, change air filter, fuel filter, oil filter, engine oil and front and rear diff oil. Just gearbox and transfer box to do :)
 
thats great ratty :D did it serve a porpoise or did you just drill a hole and stick a cable through it just fer the hell of it ?

It will serve a purpose but doesn't at the moment so therefore it is currently there just for the hell of it. It was meant to replace the cable for my front LED (gay lights). When I connected em up one of the amber lights decided it now wants to be a blue light instead. Great for winding peeps up with at night. Not so good for staying legal.:eek::doh:
 
tried to start her for the first time in 2 months and no surprise the battery was flat, had to tow her out from under her shelter with a hilux:eek::eek: jump started her off said hilux and let her run for half hour while i swept all the leaves and spiders out the back and cab:rolleyes: and then with some hindrance ooops i mean help from hubby put the sides and roof back on:D
jump started her again cos she's gone back to sleep and hubby drove her down to the workshop and left her there for matey to take her for her MOT tomorrow:eek::eek:
 
Finally got round to changing my dead power steering pump out for one I got on eBay for £15 :D

What a difference! My aching arms are glad, I can tell you! :eek::D
 
Sprayed WD40 on the brake hose fitting ready for tomorrows attempt at fitting +50mm ones and read the Haynes book on how to do the headgasket! :eek:
 
Took mine for its MOT, and despite the long list of people telling me how I never look after it, how its all about to fall apart, and how everything needs fixing or replacing......

It passed easily as always :)


(Of course, it still needs loads of bits replacing or fixing :( )

we'll see how well it runs in Wales in November wont we :D ill tell darren to bring you some oil / water / grease so you can use all of his gear to get you through the trip.

I've changed the oil since then - and so far it's all stayed in :)

And I bought a new grease gun......
