Fitted new fuel tank, Seats while someone else did the fog light and number plate light. Then spent 3 hrs trying to find the cause of the lights doing whatever they wanted too. Was quite impressive. Stand on the brakes and the light on the dash for the right indicators came on. No flashy headlights then no head lights. Then we had half powered sidelights and one indicator not flashing though................amazing what one dodgy earth can cause.

tidied the boot area up. and routed the coax for the Ham Radio, behind the roof lining. Also tightened all the belts up & pikied the rocker cover soundproofing off Robins 300TDi

Stripped a few more bits off me scrapper disco and took them to me spares stash. Started taking the timing belt cover off the 200tdi donor to replace the timing belt and pulleys but beer o'clock stopped play.

found this fooker lurking near me disco.

Just spent a couple of hrs fitting my new Southdown Snorkel.... looks great, ond for £139 posted great buy as well.:D:D:D

The missus bought me a CB radio and all stuff as an early birthday present.... :D
So today I took some time to fit it and setup....

The radio was bang in the centre, so I moved the radio to the left, installed the CB to the right, extension speaker on the left, ran the antenna cable behind the clocks and over the right hand side door all the way to the back where the antenna is mounted.... all setup and was getting a SWR of 1! happy with that! :D

Fitted my light guards which I am very happy with :D

And then spent 2 hours (!) trying to get paint off and sand downa jerry can. Why do I do these things, should jsut leave them how they are!

finished refurbing my predator alloys, finished them in metallic grey not silver.
****ed of how quick they started to go crappy,

Looks like you have a nice finish there. What paint have you used? A friend of mine swears by Wilko enamel metal paint for wheels.

Changed a hub seal on the Series 3, Swapped me steering wheel in the 110 for a Mountey boy racer one....Not sure yet if I like driving a 3 tonne sportscar.

No other set of alloys got my mud tyre's on.
Just used spray cans ford met grey and lacquer from Halfords , used hammerite alloy primer on the bare metal. Leave them a week or so then compound them down. should stay shiny for about a nano second.

You can take em off, I only want the wheels;)
