Well been off work with dehli belly so i sorted a few wiring issues repositioned the cd player / fixed the fag lighter / fog light / sidelight. Best of all i lost my rag with the tailgate catch so i assulted it with a rubber mallet and now that works fine aswell so pretty chuffed about that as its been a thorn in my side for a couple of months now.

Trouble with Disco brakes, so decided to put calipers off spare Disco 1 axle on as mine were sticking on.
Found out that mine has solid discs and spare has vented so had to swap hub, disc and caliper over as well
Now got solid disc one side and vented tother but pulls up straight only difference is that the vented disc is 100 degrees cooler after stopping than the solid one.
It'll have to wait 'till weekend now..:)

Went out for a quick bimble for fun, and ended up using nearly a whole tankful; oh woe is me, the wife will NOT be pleased, lol

Started to make me winch plate ,then the rain got to the electrics in the garage

Seems like every time I pick the welder up it rains .

Sanded and painted my fuel tank and front mounting bracket.
Installation tomorow.
Installing a new steering damper this evening, I soaked the nuts and bolts in WD40 last night so hopefully no grinder will be needed.

just had heavy duty clutch fitted, new water pump and radiator, now looking at locking on passenger door as bit slow working. thats it so far.

Today I have moved all my new and shiny parts into my spare room and made a call about having someone come and weld on my outer sill repair panels and inner arch panel....want it on the road now, fed up of waiting :(

Put 15l of petrol in the series 3 ready for its mot tomorrow.

Removed petrol tank as it decided it had a leak in it.

Fitted spare petrol tank.
