All connections, switches and fuses okay so looked inside seat pad the wire connections into the heating pad are incredibly flimsy and had just torn apart.. Caused by (nightmare scenario) of sitting on seat. Soldered em back together now works fine. Hope you find problem

My heated seat (on '02 Defender) has stopped working. What was broken on yours?

Decided after 2 months of ownership it was about time i had something other than my clonking transfer box to listen to, only to discover my Sony cd player has stopped working in the time its been out of the car in the workshop.
Guess i'll be buying a new Ipod compatible headunit then.

Removed viscous fan, replaced belts, replaced n/s mounting, fought with old exhaust and fitted new conversion downpiece - hope to get rest of prep work done tomorrow, after the tennis! :D

Used the 90 to tow the old engineless Disco out of my garage (that donated it's 200TDi engine) and loaded it onto a trailer for the guy that bought it...

Did a simple service (runs so much smoother!), found that the foam under the footwell carpets is sodden and fell through my boot floor a bit - forgot it was rotten:doh:. Then went for a good long drive with a few fields thrown in to make sure transfer box is all working.

Had a look underneath, found a bent rear radius arm and exhaust  , fookin tree, fancy hiding in a hole covered with leaves :D .

picked up me new spare for the old 90 (cheers for that baggyjim ;) )

Got home from work yesterday, walked past her and had a flat tire. Turns out some idiot had removed the inside of the valve, and completed the job by doing the spare too!

Dont think it was kids, as the dust caps had been carefully replaced, which means I guess it was greenpeace!! Best take the V8 sticker off and replace it with one saying hybrid (even though they are WORSE for the environment if you look at dust to dust comparisons).

Never mind - its gonna be a sunny day.......
