well.. seeing as the rain is not here yet and the plains are dry, I carried on with poking, finding holes and plate them over.

very nice piece of tin work there JP.:clap2:

its coming on - int it, JP?

yeh.. its getting there, doing this bit of welding was one of the priorites because of the hole at the front, all the mud was coming into the sill and then up into the cab, through rust holes on the sill top...

I've had enough of welding though..cant wait till this is finished.
At least is not raining yet, so its not like im missing much

thanks, even I was impressed with myself seeing its all one single piece with loads of folds...and the fold were done hammering the metal on a brick.. lol
I just used a piece of cardboard for template and then surprisingly everything matched pretty well

I finally plucked up courage to try and de-scratch my disco.

Though I chickened out of G3 and went for G10.

On the couple of panels I've done it's come up absolutely gorgeous :D......between the scratches :(

Seems some are a bit too much for only a quick go with G10.

However, I was using a 12v polisher thing as the wife was using the mains extension lead. When the mains is free I'll try the next couple of panels with a mains polisher thing - hopefully this will be better.

replaced the blown fuse for the fog light , and tightened up the bottom shock bushes on the ninety jist the recon steering box and pan hard bushes to do.

Just worried about my tendency to lose patience with jobs that need patience......specifically in this case, worried I may end up with a shiny silver Disco instead of a green one:eek:

Just used mine tae get some firewood today. Got a couple of big oak limbs from the field behind me and then got a nice big wild cherry tree from another field. This is just the top half of the cherry tree...

On friday I discovered my landy is suffering from oil in the wiring loom.:mad::mad: I cleaned the ECU plug and the end of the injector loom as a temp measure.

Cleaned the end of the injector loom out again yesterday. I'll try and remove and drain the ECU if I get a chance today. Might be a bit difficult though cos I got a few tip runs to do with it.
