carpet back in?
naa... no point in having all that, no carpet or sound proofing foam.. easier to wash.

To get rid of all that mud inside when i got stuck, I just took off the little plastic caps on the floor, hose pipe in... mud out! job done. :)

Got my mot coming up so thought I'd better do the small jobs that don't cost any money cos I'm skint. Ground a chunk off my paddocks steering guard to stop the steering drop arm touching it. Adjusted my lock stops to stop my tyres rubbing on full left lock. Found a rear seat catch that's held on with rivets. Drilled them out and then decided it would be a good idea to sand and paint the catch before re-fitting. (a job for tomorrow me thinks). Went to fit my replacement throttle pedal and potentiometer and then decided it had better wait until I have some new bolts in case the current ones sheer cos they're not looking too healthy. Checked brake discs and pads all round. Rears pads are getting low. I've got a spare set in my shed so that'll be another job for tomorrow. Checked for any play in wheel bearings. All good. Checked all steering joints and re-lubed my steering u/j's. Checked all bushes for play. All good. Adjusted my screen wash jets. I might fit my wiper jets tomorrow and use the redundant rear washer motor to power em. That'll give me a mega wash facility on my front screen.mMight even get around to fitting the fuel cooler that Robint gave me tomorrow. :)

Just need to get some new headlamps or empty and clean my current goldfish bowls.

Ordered a tow-kit and found an a-bar (they said they has them in stock! but we shall see) which will hopefully be going on next week!

got it back from the local garage it now has a new fuel pump , fuel sensor , fuel filter all new petrol pipes front to back and the tank has been drained and cleaned , hooray glad to have it back no more leaky rusty pipes .

I bolted the rear seat retainer down and fitted the new fuel cooler. Then I had to fit a headlight bulb to my alternative vehicle cos it had eaten another one.:(

cleaned the sikaflex from the drivers seat and cubby box that some pleb (me) had smeared all over it. horrible stuff, specially when you get it on your sleeve and dont realise!!

fitted my new props

Same here.

I had a front one snap at the UJ without any advance warning or grumbling. Well, tell a lie. it grumbled for about 5 seconds. Just enough time for me to think WTF is that? Then bang.

Even at 20mph it made a hell of a mess to my newly patched up floorpan. For the three days prior I had done over 300 miles per day, mostly on motorways. I dread to think what would have happened if it had snapped at 75-80mph?

As usual, everything was seized solid and rusted up. Oh joy! And what a stupid place to put a crossmember. Doesn't exactly make the job any easier does it.

Jobs for next week include fitting a boost gauge, (arrived from DemonTweaks this morning), so that I can have some idea how much boost pressure I am losing. Also need to do a compression / leakdown test and sort out whatever it is that is causing the Disco to fall off boost all the time. Oh, and replace the inlet / exhaust manifold gasket.

Bloody Land Rovers. Their like chuffin women. It's always spend spend spend.

Fitted me ladder on the back so now have a climbing frame for me son. Its amazing how much you can rock your landy by just pulling on the ladder. Think me springs are definatly fooked again.
