Thought about cleaning it, didn't.

Scoured the underside for any sign of damage as I'm still paranoid. None!

LOL ... really ???!!! ..... ;)

Hope you enjoyed it? We'll take you again sometime if you like .. ;)

Loved it, would love to go again.

And is the really about my paranoid comment? At least I admit it!

Though to be honest, I was amazed where a standard landy went!

Aye, just taking the **** a bit .. that's why I posted the pic of you checking the underside before we'd done much of anything hard, and added the smiley .. ;)

Amazes me every time .. OK, mine's not quite standard, but it's close to and I know it's well put together, cared for properly and in reasonably good nick, so I know it isn't going to let me down unless something daft happens ... ;)

(Famous last words)

This morning I have been mostly removing the rear carpet, taking up all of the rubberised foam stuff that's water-logged and ditching it.

One small spot of rust, soon treated, nothing close to suspender mounts and definitely no 'real' rust or signs of it. Happy day .. ;)

Replacing the under carpet stuff with rubber matting so it won't retain water, but stops the carpet getting sodden too. Ran around for a while with no rubber or carpet in and it surprised me that there's no extra noise .. I was expecting it to sound like a van .. ;)

The big "T" is due in two weeks...

Today I fitted a second hand steering box, no more leaks... maybe I'll take it in the next few days to see what it fails on...

Used it to drive to my Amateur Radio Intermediate licence exam. Which I passed.

Today I fitted new driving lamps and relay and turbo boost hoses. Would have finished quicker and got my cruise control fitted if I wasn't constantly asked what I though or could I help remove or fit another part to the 101GS that has taken resedence in my drive and is going through what seems to be a yearly rebuild and paint.

Anybody want to swap Grandfathers that way I could get my disco finished and start the forward control laying in bits round the back of the house.
Oh and find an engine for the thing.
