ahhh now i look again i see still wondering what would be the best way im thinking paint stripper and a angle grinder with a brush disk although the last time i did that the fumes n dust were lethal was coghing for a week and had blue bogeys cummin out me nose new i shud wore a decent dust mask

Ye could always get it shot/grit blasted tae save yer lungs;) When ah painted the bus ah had a paper mask and a rubber mask on and the paint still got in!!! Ah had a nice green beard, green nose hairs and coughed like feck fur ages after it!!!!

Aye ye're no kiddin'!! If ye ever look in me reciept drawer then there's probably about half a tree in there!!!:rolleyes:;):D

it hurts went out 2day and thought those shocks are no good looked okish but when i poked it more than half the matal has dissapered the normally sealed metal casing now slides up and down freely so thats yet more money

Whatever ye do don't buy ****part super gaz ones! Mind you.. ah bought a set and had them replaced for free under warranty;) Ah might even get away with replacin' them every couple of years for life unless they sort themselves out;):D

mmmmmmm.. dunno? Never tried any others so can't really compare. Ah had shagged out normal ones on mine when ah got it so bought the ****part H/D shox and springs. the shocks didn't last a year but was covered under the 2yr 50,000 mile warranty so got replacements. Ah think if ye can afford better then go for it (or just stick with the normal ones, much cheaper) ah suppose it all depends on what ye wanna do with yer landy;)
 
Yesterday I finally fitted my bullbar and steering guard together. (Long story on my diary post)

Then this evening I went and got them properly dirty :D

im a student that likes to get it muddy and off roading on farms but also in about 2 months itl be me everyday car so i need sumthin good for both but they fit the budget rearlly

Ah've heard folk say that the original shocks are pretty much up for most things so ye can't go wrong with them. If ye were doin' some serious off roadin' then get summit a bit stronger;)
 
its mainly moving trailers n green lanes so il get them thanks. im off now early morning gotta shift a 80 ft tree thats been cut down so cyas
