fitted a set of disco tyres and rims to my 110, any advice anyone?.

I'd check the load ratings, and NOT drive 'em till you're certain they'll be OK ...then get someone else to check 'em .. ;)

This might depend on exactly which Disco wheels and tyres though. Your statement above means almost nothing without detail, and which 110 variant.

If it's Hi-cap, well ...

removed cleaned and refitted my battery earth and replaced my engine to chassis earth hoping it might help my charge problems but still no luck so hopefully find the problem over the next 4 days off

last night neil made me some plates to fix my roof tent to, so today i've been fitting u bolts, so had to do a bit of drilling and the tit that i am didn't do any measuring of where my tent runners would be going roughly, yes you've guessed it i put all the bloody bolts in the way!! luckily only on one side, so had to start again, i was feckin freezing by the time i had done! lol:D

found where the random wire from my alternator goes, straight through to the caravan plug on my tow bar now that I know I can rule that out for my charging problem.

can anyone tell me what the 70a relay does by the washer bottle on my 200tdi disco? as I'm not sure its working right and may be another thing to look at

When I lift the bonnet I find loads of things to look at ;)

No idea what DFNL any of them do, but they look OK :D:D:D:D

it just seems weird that i have a 70a relay thats marked up with land rover badge on it yet the alternator is only 65a surely something is out of wack there

Gave it another lick of paint inside and outside just waiting for it to dry inside so I can put it back together in this glorious weather.

After much cursing n tantrum throwing (by dan) blood sweat n tears we eventually got the roof tent fitted its been a bitch! N had no sleep off nights n im back here at work tonight! !

All sorted now though & amazed at how quieter it was on the drive home.

if you had a stray wire going to the caravan socket. Could be the fridge/caravan battery relay.
