Borrowed a trailer, cut my hedge down and took it to the recycling centre. Discovery performed 100% as always. It's been ideal this winter on Devon with all the floods and pot holes in the lanes. What do people without land rovers do when they need a serious job tackling??

Replaced the upstream O2 sensor on bank B. The one in the worst position, and the one I replaced with a "bargain" Britpart last year. Genuine this time, hopefully it lasts a bit longer....

Replaced the a frame balljoint hopefully never again and installed a wading kit as the old axle breathers where chocker with crap.

Just managed to grab a few hours after helping my old fella on his house project
anyway managed to replace the broken bonnet cable, so i can actually get the bonnet up
And refitted the passager seat after removing it to clean the years of dirt from the cab

I didn't do much today, only drove it to Blacksheeps (Clive aka pressbrake). Clive on the other hand starred and did a bit more and fitted new cross-member - well worth the 200 mile round trip

Fitted me noo PAS pipes. Back on the road:amen:

Still had to get the blinking angle grinder involved - bloody P clip bolt was fecking solid despite wd40 and ****ting the fecker wiv big hammer. It had its revenge on my thumb - sliced a nice deep cut into it on the folded down clip when removing one of the pipes!!

Good job well done - apart from SWMBO putting me ATF in a 'safe' place and not remembering where - bastid halfrauds... 7.49 for a litre!!!

Whoops - there appears to be the slightest hint of a hole in that there tank fella.

Hope thats not motion lotion as I'd be fecking crying - or at the very least dropping oily/gungy parts on to the floor for an impromtu washing!!

It was nice bp petrol :( bastid thing!!!

Gonna get a tank from a lorry and just stick it in the rear tub as there a pair of Daf trucks bring broken locally

sounds like a plan.

Next job for me is to find the duff earth on me interior lights/stereo/clock as the sprogs are complaining that they can't see. Whinging sods - its been like it all winter, yet they only start complaining as the nights is drawing out!!
