Discovered the towbar-electrics tester I was lent doesn't work, as the lender predicted so tested electrics with meter and found all to be good.

The went for a spin to recharge the battery after all the shunting around for the MOT and discovered the handbrake's unadjusted itself a******gain. Does anyone else have this problem or is it just my car the brake fairies visit? Bolt's loctited and everything.
 
Thought I would give mine a good clean and polish, got as far as polishing half the bonnet and thought b__ger it; Its too cold. I shall wait for the spring.
 
Get my old girl back tomz after she broke down.

Looking forward to fitting new dampers & turrets on the front.

One thing i am puzzled about... my handbreak wore out so i bought replacement shoes, expander unit, and the 3 clips to hold the expander in place. Adjusted it so it is one notch back from biting. When I pull the handbreak it travel the full extension but doesn't even bite. Almost like the cable is miles too long.

I have adjusted the cable fully, wondering if i have missed something, or need a shorter cable, or need a different expander unit that has a shorter arm.

Anyone experienced this before?
 
Rung Adrian Flux to increase it's value from £3500 to £8000 agreed following spending £3000+ on new parts and 200 hours work!!

Very reasonable additional premium too.

try tightening the adjuster all the way. back it off 1.5 turns. then adjust cable.
 
despaired at the continuing torrent of water coming in through the rear sunroof :(

but on the plus side.........

fitted a new fan in our boiler, and now we is warm !!!! :)
