Well I've sorted my tool boxes out and placed orders for a raft load of new bits:

All the connectors for my TD5 dash, and replace the connectors for the rear indicators and the heater.
Black chequer plate bonnet and wings tops plus rivets and counter sunk black bolts
Drivers floor mat
CB radio, coax, SWR meter and antenna
All the stuff for making heavyweight thick battery connection cables
Speakers
Speedo transducer
Central locking safari door catch, bell crank and cover plate

Phew.......

Tomorrow I'm ordering:
Raptor dash, pod, dash cover plates
Switches & gauges for the raptor dash
The suspension upgrade when I know what I'm ordering.
The headlining material - I've made my own headlining using sound proofing and it looks really great - should be even better when it's covered up
And finally the aluminium sheet for the roof console I'm building

And that's my money all spent up :D

Just taken out the old central crossmember to put it back in its original place, found a whole load more to weld too......this should be fun in the dark!

Yep i had to do the same to mine when i replaced crossmember.

I'm a quarter way through! Got a little vertical stick welding to do but I've managed to get it so a lot of it is horizontal

Bought a complete set of radius and trailing arm bushes, ordered from Adventure 4x4 their ad says they are the best around and OEM, just what I wanted, three guess,s what colour box they arrived in.

Had an argument with a wall today. Now got a new dent in my wing :( and hit a bin, span in the road. Very interesting occasion. Still. Better the wall then the car that did an emergency stop because they were gonna miss their turning in front of me ! :)

Ha. I didn't stop to take a couple of selfies with someone's recycling ;) I shall take a picy if the dent. Still some brick in it too! :)

decided to change the engine, came across a bent conrod and a damaged bore yesterday:mad:, so I have given it some thought today and concluded that I'm getting another 19j and building one engine out of both of them, so im in the market for a 19j.
(I have put a post in the wanted section)

Awch get yerself a nice 200 whilst its out, if you can find one

If I had the cash thats the way I would go but at the moment I have to go down the low cost route (not always the best way I know), so I want to make a good engine out of two 19j's (if thats possible) or drop on a runner

It'd be worth keeping your eye out for a scrap disco. I know of a few up this way with good engines but its a bit far for you to go

Did more welding.....

Off to get some paint to finish the crossmember then the new tub and roof can go on! It's slowly getting there

Stuck some sound deadening foam inside the cab roof, much quieter now, even had to turn the radio down:)

Started wiring in an interior lamp and rear spot/worklamp but it went dark on me:rolleyes::)
