well maxxyjazz,
I park on level`ish ground about 20 metres away from a facing the headlights wall.
if you have one good aimed headlight, use that as a marker,
then re align the out of setting one.
a quick check is stand in front of each headlight at a time then noticing how the beams look (focus) to each other with a bit of a gap in between each pattern of light.
do it on dipped bean though, then check the main beam.
oh, it dont work on a sunny day, so as its cold and bleak out, should be just fine mate.
good luck.

ps, are you sure you replaced the new bulb correctly - the 3 prongs in the correct offsett holes in headlight ??
Cheers fella, I'll have shot at that later. Even though its freezing here. It's not the easiest way to change a bulb is it? Especially when the screw rust.

At the risk of sounding stupid, I thought the bulbs only went in one way, so I just pushed them in and checked to see if they worked.

can anyone give me tips on how to post a forum on here please, im new here, got lots to ask but dont know where to post. any advice would be welcomed

Pinion off

New pinion ready

New bearing race sorted out

Got the new pinion off then remembered I hadn't put the bearing onto the shaft.......

spent another million quid at Bearmach buying bits ready to replace the r/h swivel ball stuff.

Send the f***ing thing back before it's too late.

I was one of 2 people that shattered a Bearmach Teflon swivel ball in Morocco last week. They are inferior ****e.

Well not only am I a newbie here, but last week I traded my Jag for a new disco. So yesterday I fitted the dog / cargo guard bought on ebay for just over £50 and a tow bar storage bracket, again from ebay.

Am I a happy boy or what:)

Good for you Nigel! now go over to the introduce yourself section and introduce yourself ( coz we're all nosey buggers) then more importantly go to the discovery section and put up pics of your disco :D
