Fitted a clock into the "spare" hole in the dash, so now I'll know exactly how long it's really taking me to get anywhere.

Ran a new power supply from the alternator/battery connection to a new fuse box on the inner wing (did this the other day) fitted two relays on a nice bracket to the inner wing and wired my four driving lamps up through flexi conduit, pretty pleased with the result looks almost factory, actually it looks better than Land Rovers standard of wiring

Replaced the standard tow ball with a ball and pin type so I can tow ring type couplings and use my tow pole if I need to.

fitted a new (2nd hand) rear sound proofing as mine was not there.now its much quiter in the back.now the hunt is on for the bonnet sound proofin.

Arrived back today from being away for a week to find 2 packages containing a clutch claw and a disklock. So now i have isolator switch, clutch claw and disklock. Hopefully that will be enough to secure him.

well my manifold is blowing so have gaskets ready also notice some more nuts missing in the exhaust to turbo so mange so source some nuts for these.seems to be going on for ever chaseing blowing areas of this exhaust.

Just one little job to keep me out of mischief for an hour or two.

Installed an additional accessory socket to the "D" pillar, just inside the tailgate door.

Picked up the wiring on the back of the existing socket behind the "middle row" nearside seat and ran the cable behind the trim to the new socket. A 27mm Q-Max cutter for the main hole, two self tappers, a handful of Lucar crimp on connectors and the job as they say is a goodun.

Fitted new seatbox ends, refitted my now refurbished battery box, more scraping and painting of chassis, sorted out the hi/low linkage and diflock linkage and found I need new shocks now. I guess MOT is not happening next week after all.

Not mine unfortunately Danny, just helping a friend out with the transport.

Took camera and mislaid it, think I left it in my car, Richards Chassis was a nice place, and wind behind us all the way back

200 tdi first, did I struggle up over the Pennines with that old n/a, looked good with the new silver chassis glinting in the sun on the trailer though

spent 4 hours prepping and spraying the station wagon rear doors the watched as one fell off as I moved the trolley and landed sprayed side down in the dirt..... ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

now drinking wine to get over it!!

Repaired my loom at the back, fitted new rear lights, painted more chassis and the new crossmember, refitted the exhaust correctly so that it doesn't bang and rattle and searched in vain for missing bolts.

Yes it was

What I did to my Land Rover today was some new, deeper scratches and a dent on the back from the tipping over lane (it didn't quite tip over)

So now I know why people spend the time between trips fixing the damage from the last
