Steam clean in preperation for wax-oiling

Replaced the front seats, steering wheel, electric window switches and rear wiper blade

Cleaned the glass

Wrapped the wiring looms in electrical tape, then cable tidys, then electrical tape again, then gaffer tape.

Cut a section of waste water pipe to size ready for covering the rear loom in order to protect from water ingress and muddy boots damaging the loom

Found a few more small holes under the drivers seat that need plating up

Realised that my acelerator and clutch cables need replacing

Fitted new front pads

Got 12 months MOT

Picked up my rubberised safety paint, complete with gritty bits to paint my floorpan with

Realised just how dam noisy the car is with no carpets, sound deadening, or interior, (except a drivers seat and dash)

The coming week will see the following work done of the Disco.....

Plate up the few small holes under the drivers seat

Change oil & filter, fuel filter, gearbox and diff oils and brake fluid

Remove the ECU and place in a water tight box

Strip the floorpan back to bare metal, give it a couple of fresh coats of Karust, then Hammorite primer, then this rubberised safety paint stuff and my tailered rubber mats and load bay liner

Refit the jigsaw that is the rest of the interior bits and pieces

Fit new door seals

Put a couple of top coats of 456 above the windscreen and fit the new windscreen top rubber

And if I can be bothered, once again put the drivers door window back on it's runners for about the 20 millionth time, and yet again grease the boot door lock, just for a laugh.

Over the next couple of months, the only remaining jobs, (for the time being at least), will be a new rear bumper, fuel tank guard, gearbox guard, dan bar, snorkel and wading kit......

And maybe a light bar.....

And a decent 2" lift full suspension kit.....

And a auxillery fuse board.....

And a couple of 12v pints in the boot.....

And an AC/DC converter
