fitted a homemade alarm and took all the door trims off ready for new locks. fooking hell the door bottoms are rusty :eek:
 
Swapped the soft top on a S111 88" to a hard top what a bitch of a job, what should have been a 2 hour job took all day nothing lined up and half the bits were missing, had to make brackets and fetch bolts, still it's done now.
 
Again not a Land Rover, but will be used in Land Rover shows :D Pretty much finished the stove, will make a grill and pan for it so I can cook food on it soon :D

My welding was a bit better today as well :p
 
Just give mine a quick service this evening. Changed the oil, oil filters, air filter and fuel filter. Put a nice new drain plug in the sump because the old one was butchered. Goodness me it was difficult to start afterwards. I had to go through the purging process umpteen times before the engine would catch, but all seems well now. Been for a little drive in the twilight and it's all perfect.
 
Changed my Fuel filter by following Busters thread.



Dunno if it's my imagination, but it seems to have more power now. :D

Anyone know if local tips will take old filter / diesel??
