Changed the exhaust tail pipe. Just got it off when I received a call from the boss, had an urgent job. Fitted the tail pipe in 5 minutes flat. I'm sure it seems to run a bit quicker now.

Picked my disco up today from the garage all fixed :D yay. Just need to replace my n/s rear indicator bulb. Seems to have gone. If not then its the earth again.

Not a big job, but it kept me off the streets for an hour:rolleyes::rolleyes::tea:

Used it to jump start me old quad, get it warmed up etc. then spent 3/4 of an hour getting the topper running, kept flooding and the starter motor doesn't seem to turn it over fast enough. Had to resort to pull starting the 13hp lump over and over again. I was well and truly fooked when i finally got it running :/

Used it as a mobile welding station again as my mate broke the tractor again……not the weld I put on the steering arm but the belt pulley for the blade drive!

So I had to tack the four pieces up then seam weld along the top

last weekend, new brake pads all round, a liter of dot 5 to flush out an amazing amount of horrible filth and finished up fitting the twin shock set up, the difference in handling is nothing short of astonishing.

Lost a rear mud flap on my Disco1 somewhere yesterday evening. The whole assembly was rotten an just fell off. Hope it didn't cause a problem for somebody running in to it during the night. Lump of muddy/rusty metal with a mud flap attached.... :crazy_driver: Ouch.

Ah well, more work to do when I lay it up for the big rebuild...
