I Put the injector cleaner in and took it for a decent run including a blast up Frocester Hill locally. It certainly appears to be a bit more responsive, comparatively speaking for a Tdi 90. I can’t comment on the claim to reduce smoke at the moment though as it isn’t a very smoky Landy.

Ordered a set of Terrafirma rear shocks and steering damper, an engine service kit and a bulkhead removal bar for my 110. looking forward to fitting them all. used JGS4x4 and they seem really good so far.

Strangely, to some maybe, I prefer having the bulkhead. What's the advantage of not having it, move the seat further back?

Hi, i'm 6'4 tall and could do with more legroom so going to lower the bulkhead and then fit extended seat rails. also planning to build a bed in the back so the extra legroom will be needed. then i can put the front seats forward and extend the bed over the bulkhead with a foldable extension piece.

That makes sense, good plan. Maybe to a thread with your progress, sounds interesting.

Fixed the drivers front indicator, needed a new housing which we had in stock.
Fitted a cheapy washer bottle to replace the previous cheapy (£5) which was leaking out of the pump.
Fitted a pair of horns to replace the non working air horn, original horn behind the grille is worse than useless.
Gave myself a hard time for damaging one of the new valve stem seals! On the up side I bought a set of Elring ones for £9 on Ebay.

Tried to get the front bumper bolts out but they are not moving even with BulldogBDX applied. looks like i need a new set and sacrifice the current ones. also clean and reblacked the front grille and headlight surrounds

Done a bit of rear tub cleaning, priming and painting. Oh and soundproofing.

Collected my latest eBay purchase, a pair of rear bumperettes for the 90. The last pair I bought went AWOL in the post after the seller put the wrong address. I found a second pair that nearly went the same way after the Courier company strangely delivered them to a supermarket next door to the collection shop! It was only due to staff at the shop recognising the name on the delivery confirmation that meant I found them! They‘re now safely in my garage awaiting rubbing down, painting and fitting.

So finished up the rear tub insulation.. just needs a rubber mat over it now..

So then fitted the front exmoor rubber mat, new seatbelts and lifted the chairs into place last night..

Yesterday took the old girl to the pub to meet with friends for lunch. Had a great lunchtime, then back home to give her a thorough clean...jet wash, snowfoam, sponge wash, jet wash rinse and dry off...including chassis, underside, wheel arches and engine bay.

Rewind to October last year, two things happened, 1. I did some servicing underneath, 2. I lost my favourite magnetic based angle head LED torch. I've searched the whole house, garage, sheds and Landy tent for the torch...nothing, zilch, nada.

Yesterday whilst jet washing the chassis...there's the torch, still attached to where I'd last hung the bloody thing  Amazingly, this is four months and 943miles later...and at least five 0.5m-0.6m wadings through Bucklebury Ford. Even more amazing...it still works, brilliant.
