Made up and fitted new brake pipes for the back end today. Quite therapeutic.

Waxoyled the underside... used the Schutz canisters (x2) from Mmart, which seemed to do a good job.... 82p roll of tinfoil from local shop did the masking job nicely for the exhaust.... Dinitrol'd (x4) cavities - bit left to do the bulkhead, and doors.

Pressure washed last week, and allowed to dry... light surface rust... not bad - last did the underseal a good few years ago...

Bit knackered now... warm bath and think of the £500 saved by doing this job myself:D

Took advice on a new " bigger the better battery" so did and what a difference spinning her over , fitted some new camo green seat covers and as a support to the tonneau cover, fixed a length of nylon strap lengthways from the back of the cab to the back door , couple of clicks on the ratchet and it's nice and taught stopping rain pounding on it , 2mins to release if I want to drop the back door, but mostly I'm just peeling the cover back at the sides to get in at stuff. Still awaiting the first good frost to really get the benefit of the cab heater but have used it to dry myself off when getting soaked at graft .

Absolutely nothing - it’s still marooned in the garage (2 weeks) that was due to do the pre MOT welding. MOT now expired, good thing it’s not the daily drive.

Grrrrr

At last, it is back home with a fresh ticket - plenty of welding, new A Frame Joint - hurrah. Then realised how atrocious the headlights (candles) were on the drive home - and the malfunctioning indicators…..

Hmm - jobs to do

Re' headlights, install individual relays, WIPAC crystal headlamps and Osram Night Breaker H4's

First time forming a bow wave with the old girl as a local road was flooded due to this storm that's hit us , something satisfying about sailing past cars stuck wheel arch deep in water .

I was hoping for more snow here ! Only ended up with a shower and its all about gone now. I fitted a snorkle other day really don't know why to be honest, but it looks alright

Not got much of snow here but probably one of the worst stormy nights I can remember, plenty damage in the area a trees uprooted like carrots
