I had that happen a few weeks back, ended up just taking it off as the one chassis bracket was mangled too.Had a look yesterday, and the N/S ARB drop-link had managed to rotate through 180* so it was wedged up against the spring seat!
I had that happen a few weeks back, ended up just taking it off as the one chassis bracket was mangled too.
No mate, shock absorber snapped & spring popped out (which is what caused the arb to flip over) and damaged the sidewall of the tyre. Been to the local tyre place to order a new one and surprisingly, that one is still legal as it's not down to the cords. Bit p****d about the tyre as it's only done about 5000 mile.
