Greetings!
I've just acquired, unplanned, my first "landy" - a 1998 petrol Freelander.
With most vehicles I've had I've built up a short list of the most essential tools to have on board over time, either by building up from a basic kit, and adding to that whilst doing general maintenance over time - or putting together a huge (heavy) overkill kit initially and pruning it as time goes by.
Sometimes I've been lucky though and owners' groups have already worked out what's really needed. What do the members here suggest as the basic tools and spares to always carry?
Having had a Harley round-the-clock I already know about the hammer, duct-tape and baling wire basics
(I can't search effectively on this forum for "tools" as there is a standard link "forum tools" on every page which confuses the results a bit!)
Thanks for any informed advice
TT
