I had one of them, and the 400 version as well.
I specifically wanted a silver 250N, have built up some of the frame parts and need to press in the headstock bearing now before it becomes too heavy to handle manually so I can get both wheels in to move it around.
My excuse is that it is for the wife as she may have a full licence but she is nervous of all the others as being too big and heavy. This is to try and encourage her back on a bike as it is fairly small, light and being heavy on the throttle won't send her into a hedge;)

My brother had a silver 250N in the early 80s but sold it and got an Indian royal enfiled. I fancied a 400N superdream but wife and kids got in the way.

Hmm..

This which was bought in 1993 by my Grandfather, cue picture ;)

I drove her all the way from the UK to Bucharest and it was a weapon, uber smooth when cruising but it handles incredibly well going through germany on the famous autobahn I managed to average 133mph on certain derestricted areas and a top speed run of 156. , fantastic car..

Once in Bucharest it cruised around and once all I had to do was done I took her on the Transfagarasan Highway

which was a bucket list road and it did not disappoint arse out on some corners, with the old Aj30 singing sweet music, even did the mountain roads.

Honestly the best car i've ever driven, quite fancy an XJS to go with it... ;)

Interior space isn't too bad with the seat set for my frame people could still sit in the back.
comfort is great too
styling is very much a personal taste, either you love it or you don't ;)

Only the one tumble dryer! We have a barn dance every few years... good excuse to hire a skip! Peeps say I am lucky having the space but I am not so sure, seem to fill it with other peoples rubbish! It is easy to collect "projects" or as my Wife says, "stuff that doesn't work?" Been learning to rebuild outboard motors during COVID, now have three fully refurbished, bikes have sat unloved. Holding off ripping into the P38 as other stuff more pressing.

I remember with the 400 version reading that if you removed the crank counter balance shaft you got more power with not much more vibes, they lied on both accounts!
