Hi guys

When I get my defender I will be using it mainly for metal detecting, fishing, offroading, and hol's.

what do you use yours for :)

Mine is a second car, gets used for anything really, it obviously gets used when something needs moving, towed or I am going somewhere that its 4x4 ability may come in handy or I know the roads are bad, in the snow it just becomes the daily driver.

I use it mostly to practice my mechanic skills, cause it breaks every time I touch it. But the reason I bought it was to do a bit of green laning and cart the wife's chickens around

same here, i use mine to make sure my tools work for when i need them. i also sometimes like to use it to test my patience.

Same here and to brush up on my now extensive swearing vocabulary. Green laning/off road is what i bought it for but it seems to have turned into a bank without a withdraw function.

I have a couple of cars so have a choice but I use mine everyday as a daily car as the backroads around here are usually too rough for my other cars as they are on coilovers and have relatively expensive wheels that I don't intend on breaking on potholes. Also use it around the farm so towing livestock trailers, moving stuff that'll either fit in the rear tub or anything else that'll fit on the flatbed trailer. Gets used for loads of other stuff around the farm then too where needed and the winch gets used for anything where it may be useful.

Use it for towing the car transporter when recovering cars, towing my trackcar to events, do abit of on-track recovery at driftdays for when cars need pulling out of the gravel and some other car related stuff.

Obviously use it for greenlaning and ligth off-roading and will be towing my trayback when I have it built.

Use it for when going mountain-biking and camping then too.

So quite alot of stuff really :D

I brought my defender for off-Roading when it's not broke! I also have a discovery to pull it home when it breaks.....

Mine's been used for many things over the last 9 years. I bought it because I wanted one and used the 'I can tow the Scouts tents on a trailer when they go camping' as an excuse. It was originally used for my daily 150 mile round trip commute as well. Then it spent some time as a shed after the 150 miles every day caused it inevitable demise.

With a change of job it became my toy and 'Canoe Carrier'. However, now she is my everyday car and still the canoe carrier with a bit of pay and play and greenlaning thrown in.

mines used for plumbing and heating work, also running over small animals, dragging fooked stuff home, ferrying the brats everywhere bad weather work and dragging trailers about
it also leaks fluids alot

Welcome to my life well apart from the brats bit.. :D :D

Its a second vehicle and i mainly uae it carting stuff over fields to battle field excavation and other archaeology stuff and my bunker museum to equip it for open days.

I also use it as an excuse to escape domestic bliss/work/speaking to people by going out to fix it…… I quite enjoy that though it's like an adult meccano kit

Oh yeah and I live in darkest Sussex and need it to get to work in bad weather

Mines a daily driver for carting plaster and all things plastering based.
All my tools including cement mixer and scaff boards and ladders!
I also use it to test the efficiency of my local casualty dept with wrapped knuckles and any other mechanical injury.
Oh and as previously stated to cart my children around to all their clubs!!!
Glad its a 110 CSW 10 seater!!!!
