you could try, worth a look, but to be honest he is probably a private seller just flipping cars for the max price by getting other people to bid on them. I suppose if you go with the cash he may be open to offers to save on fees

I think I will probably spend more and get one at the "normal" prices (8k plus seems to be they starting point)

Well I had the 4.4, and it was just dandy, but I reckoned if a S/c was available for similar money I'd definitely have plumped for it, cool factor an all that jazz.

Oh I know exactly what I want, it's just that having just bought 'er indoors a new sportage, the funds for my toy are slightly more limited than I would have liked.
It's a case of do I go with a cheap 4.4 and upgrade in a year or do I go the budget 4.2 route?
The p38 was cheap and has been fantastic but it was throw away money.
If I spend 8k then and it goes horribly wrong then I have a big problem.
Maybe I need to look into third party warranties???
