If you still have the old one you can swap and get pressure and fuel input right it shouldn't really smoke at all. Even with it tuned for more bhp smoke is either unburned fuel or badly burned(not enough oxygen) shouldn't get either if it's set right cept maybe a little at startup
I can't see the point in the boost pin when you can adjust the pump that's with it. No need to declare it as another mod then too

Why?

At my age, it takes a bit of time to get up to speed, but I'm OK when I get there!

Apart from which, SWMBO doesn't mind my lack of grunt!
