well nuts to it go have a look at this diesel the night see the craic with it but it looks like its back to spam for a while

theres an article here - where someone changed the lump fur a montego 2.0 turbo charged lump and saved money on insurance - coz it was a smaller engine :D

Might help if you put your location in yer profile then peeps would know where abouts in the country you live.

yeah you could be waitin on ebay for months and i dont fancy waitin that long to get her back on the road

the other alternative is open your wallet (lots)

one of my S3's had been sitting around with it's head off needing new seats/valves - i finally got the hump with it and wanted it shifting so phoned Turners at 4:30pm on a Monday to order a new head - it's arrived at 9:30am the next day and by 2 in the afternoon i'd got it stuck in 2 foot of mud up the field

is there anywhere else that does unleaded heads or is it just turner engineering???
carb wise are the weber 34ich any good - one on ebay seams reasonable money (£45) is it ????

I am lead !!! to believe that the deepender 2.5 has unleaded valve seats fitted - but could be wrong...

YUP _ Paddocks offer two Weber carbs - anyone know wot the diff is - coz I got one - but as its a Deepender lump in a Series - it dont help when they ask fur VIN Number!"

Sorry bud. Just had a look at my webber and cant see any numbers (somthing to do with 1/2" of greasy gritty oily stuff all over it) so duno??? Answer me this though... My landy has one of those self servicing engines.. drips out the bottom and i fill it up at the top. The oil goes all over the place but my chassis still goes rotten?? Hows that work then?

the ident numbers are on the bottom flange on the side away from the mixture screw.

I wud take a pic fur ya - but if yu think i is goin out in this rain - no chance :D

well bit the bullet today and ordered up a new carb see if that sorts her out and will gather the pennys together for an unleaded head will get her running right eventually
