Would if I had some or near a petrol station. Only put in 20ltrs yesterday and that was after the low fuel lamp came on and it was running great then. Breakdown truck still hasn't turned up. Autoaid call center have rang to ask if they have, and are going to chase them up.

Yeah, if topping her up gets me going I might leave pump replacement (or facet mod) until it warms up a bit.

I'm too skint to buy a new vdo pump , new 4th injector, car x 2 insurance , house insurance, landy car tax plus all my regular bills have left me very poor, feckin Xmas coming too!
I've got a facet pump spare though so that'll cost little to install but I can't find anything online to say it'll work fine, can't see why it won't but ya know....

Had a call back...another hour. 2.5 hrs total IF they turn up by 2.30.

If they are suitable for a 38. Got one on my 110 200tdi with no problem.

It was a recon Bosch pump, but clearly not done a very good job with it. Been fitted for a month. Big sad.

Oh yeah, that's the one got from cnc or whatever they are called? All the fuel leaked out?
I was on about the intank pump on mine that's dead.
Anywho, just got back so 3.5 hrs from call to truck arriving.

when i had mine recovered, the guy commented he could recover up to (i think it was 2.2t)
"close enough" was the answer when i said it weighed in at 2.7t

The Facit pump will work OK in the pipe to the filter assuming that the intake in the tank is clear. for safety, it should be wired into the in tank pump circuit.

That's what I intended to do and it's the easiest wiring wise. If I do fit one it'll be near the tank mounted on a chassis rail.

Under the bonnet is where I would put it. Make sure it has sufficient capacity.

Tonne = kilo's On the weighing machine, 1200 on the front, 1050 on the rear with half a tank of diesel
