Got EAS, pressure switch not changing state error 3 times today after ages without it. Travelling nanocom to the rescue.
What can we expect when we haven't sorted the seep through the roof yet and we go to the lake District?
 
Got it picked up by a friendly, free Land Rover experienced mechanic to sort out the engine timing and the worn out exhaust manifold bolt. oh, and finally install the Truetrac diff in the rear. Removed a hornets nest before he left, turns out if a dark, protected space is in the same spot for a year it becomes interessting as living space. Put said nest in a protected space to bot harm the queen over winter.

Good news, since I put sealant over all the joints around the gearbox, transfer case and engine she doesn't leak at all anymore!

She'll be back in a month or so for MOT!

Said to see the space in the drive way empty so...
 
Wafted home from the lakes in horrendous rain and spray yesterday, with the trip computer trying to tell us we managed about 30mpg according to the remaining range. Obviously it lies so will be interesting to fill up soon.
 
I thought the change was 2007 for that.

24th March 2006 was the significant date for that, no idea why it was on that day as I always thought that a 55 plate will be on the cheaper end but an '06 will empty your wallet a lot more but based on the Gov.uk website, you could conceivably get an '06 that is in the cheaper bracket provided it was registered in the first 23 days of March.

Wafted to the garden centre for lunch, then home via fuel. Considering the traffic and roads of the last week, quite happy with 19.8mpg for the last nearly 400miles. Snugged under his cover with the trickle charger and dehumidifier, having taken nearly 2 litres out with it during the last 5 days.
 
Change the L322 key fob case.

MOT for the P38 today. Needed a new track rod ball joint as the play in the OS front wheel turned out to be that and not the bearing, phew! Once that was fitted and tested only one advisory was a lower suspension arm ball joint dust cover which when I asked about they advised to wait until it’s a real problem and would be a failure as apparently the upper will need to be done at the same time, and they’re a pig to do.

Upper and lower swivel should be done together. Not such a bad job with the right tools which are not terribly expensive.

I’ve already had to turn on sensor into a liquid to replace it so I’m well versed in the ABS sensors.

Thanks for a link to the tools, I’ll take a look at Euro Car Parts to see what I can get.
