When they get that faded mask them up and spray them satin black with an aerosol.
if they are only just starting to fade you can usually get them with back to black spray or Armoral plastic renovator.
They don't look like the 27mm wheelnuts? Those wheels off a Disco?
Okay dude nothing appers as a pre check light. Mabye its gone dead haha. No audible sound apart from normal click clak. All works so not a biggie really.
It is on the left set of warning lamps of the instrument binacle on the bottom row. Far right one I think, nearest the odometer.
I think you are right that's where i remember it, no extra sound on mine, just the light.
I'm not sure they all come with it. Mine did but mine had full towing electrics with twin sockets. If not it is a standard V2 socket holder with one of those 286 lamps in.
Probably the bulb has been stolen to replace a duff one.
It should be a standard feature as it is operated by the BECM, regardless of whether the tow electrics are fitted, the loom is there.
Of course some idiot may have wired into the lights instead of using the connector provided, in which case the indicator would not work.
I meant the bulb!
Think you're right, someone has nicked the bulb for something else. You can get 10 for £2 off the Bay with free postage.
Cheers grrrr and datatek its in the plug and play loom at the back so just the trailer indicator bulb il try everything's been put back due to family reasons atm so next day off il have a go with hub seals and filters and so on and grrrr wheel bolts are definitely 27s tried this morning lol
Took it to local garage for them to take to MOT station, garage owners wife takes it to MOT station only to find she can not open drivers door from inside, so, No MOT today and another problem to fix.
It's twelfth engine oil & filter change since I've owned it.
Did the gearbox as well as the new one has done about 5k. Nice clean ATF coming out but, as I expected, the magnet was a bit furry.
Greased front prop and checked front diff. Rears tonight once I get the knots out of my spine. Oh for a ramp or a pit.
New two post lifts are not expensive either rated for 2.5 tonnes. The major cost is the ground work and concrete needed to install one. I opted to dig a pit, cheaper and in the case of mine safer as one end is open.Second-hand ramps are quite reasonable on the Bay. It is where to put it that is the problem!
