I got Terras on mine, was an amazing difference. Ordered a Terra steering damper now as that is looking a bit tired. Hopefully it is an equally impressive improvement.

Some geezer at work who is working on our building maintenance gave me a full set of genuine Range Rover L322 rubber floor mats from his previous RR....

Refused to take anything for them too, fecking nice bloke :D

Started changing the seal on my sunroof (1991 glass sunroof)
The lip round the edge is a little rusty but fixable.
It all came apart ok which is a good start.

Realised I had other more important things to do than play with cars
so had to leave it for now..............

Well it was a plan until I checked my bookmarks. Seems no where stocks them any more. Bloody typical. :/

Aye, sources have always been few and far between, but it seems there is nowt left now. Might drop an e-mail to a few places, see if anyone can get hold of some. Doesn't help that Chrome has dropped a bunch of my bookmarks though, I know I am missing about 50. Damn technology.

have just sent a email to spannermonkeys as they are a terra supplier to see if they are still available

Thinking of those shocks as well, could you tell me how the ride changes, hopefully not harder than boge

I couldn't give a fair assessment as mine were so far gone I doubt they were any good when I got the thing. The ride is still nice and smooth, it absorbs the bumps well, but is less likely to put the front corner down when cornering (still has a lot of body roll, but no where near as much as it did). Nice travel too for smashing around offroad.

dont think you can get rid of the roll think thats the nature of the beast either that or drop links are worn out, i am just renewing everything on the front as i go so i know its all in good order as i tend to go off piste a fair bit:D

Over the last 6 months I have had to replace everything rubber (sans tyres). Cost me in the region of 2k to do it, but I think it is as good as it is going to get. All that is left to do is the steering damper so I have nothing original left under there.

But that has been put on the back burner. Trying to find a Mk3 RF Receiver now. What is going on with P38s that no one seems to stock any of their parts? Those that do are taking advantage of it too. £270 inc VAT for a new receiver? Dafuq?

i got my rf from landrover its the only place that have them  i paid just under £200 for it  i would try a local landy dealer first if you havent allready as if they are available its only to them .

i think p38s have become really popular as they are really cheap to buy see them on flea bay going for less than a grand and parts places have cottoned on to it that they can bump up the prices and folks have to pay it if they want them to run and folk are paying over the odds for second hand parts saw a old front airbag that looked like it was well passed it sell for £50 last week :crazy:anyway rant over on that

Luckily the Landy Dearler is just up the road from me (I hate driving past on my way to work, almost as much as I hate driving past the classic car dealership). I'll give them a bell tomorrow, see if I can get one for under £200 wangers.

Let me know what price they tell you, I'm after one at some point too.

I actually fixed something. I put my cruise control pipe back on and changed relay 6 & 7 so air con works :):).

Also gave her a good wash and wax to make her look better.

Stuck two fingers up at the weather, sucked the mop of expense with regard to fuel, loaded the kids, dog and a picnic into the Rangie and drove into Wales for a day on the banks of Lake Bala......We were the only ones there!!!! What a superb day!
